Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
